Greetings fellow gamers!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Alexander, people tend to call me Mags though, explanation will follow!
I am 18 and hail from Denmark where I live in a city called Horsens right across the street from Telesto. I left "college" around last december, it wasn't really my style.
I then started working in the electronics department of a "supermarket" called Føtex. I started in a new school again last monday,
which I plan on finishing this time, so I can continue and eventually become a computer scientist.
I'm a huge fan of American football, just so you know that sundays will be spent watching that!
My World of Warcraft career started when the game was released a few years back, I didn't get a chance to play the beta sadly.
I started a dwarf paladin on the server Terenas with a few friends, we got to know how the game and level'ed really slowly.
When we finaly got to lvl 42-ish, the pvp system was launched and we felt screwed, because we had started on a normal server,
since there was no reason to start on a pvp server with our small knowledge about the game.
So I started a gnome mage (Magash) on the pvp server Trollbane and got to lvl 60 with a decent speed and joined a small guild consisting of mostly british people called The Lost Exiles (This was before Telesto joined and they started recruiting/raiding).
But after a while, were I learned more about the game mechanics, I wanted to see the real end game content instead of 5 and 10 mans.
So a friend of mine and myself joined a Molten Core guild which downed Major Domo the week before we joined. I got alot of experience and good times in that guild.
We downed Ragnaros a few weeks later and started on BWL where we progressed slowly but steady.
We had Nefarion on farm status when the Gates of Anh'Qirai opened on our server, the guild management took this opportunity to totally reform the guild into more hardcore orientated one, and I was made the Mage class leader while I was raiding Zul'Gurub and Molten Core on my priest alt (Maghanis) which I also got to rank 10 in the old pvp system (Lietenant Commander). But because of the summer we waited to start on the real hardcore raiding. We progressed through Anh'Qirai up to the Twin Emps in 2 weeks and were very proud of ourselves, we then started on Naxxramas as well while we were farming Ahn'Qurai and trying C'thun.
We managed to down 6 bosses in Naxx and C'thun phase 1. Naxx as a dungeon and the C'thun fight are in my opinion are the 2 best things Blizzard implementede into the old World of Warcraft.
My experience in TBC raiding are limited though, when it was released a few friends of mine and myself decided that we would all reroll on the same server and go full out pvp.
I started an orc warrior (Maghas), but got really bored before I hit lvl 70 with him so I started a Blood Elf Paladin (Maghanis) and level'ed her to 70 and got some decent pvp gear and did a few heroics, before I found my true calling. I started an Orc Hunter named Modak and got him to 70 fast and geared him up, He has been 70 for 2 months or so. Tried most bosses in Karazhan with him as well, but that's about it for TBC raiding.
Will probably be in my pvp gear, my pve gear will have
a decent level of hit rating and attack power.
Hope you can figure out why people call me Mags now
